Friendship

Having good friends is very important because you can do a lot of things with your friends. If you have a best friend, you will never feel lonely. Best friends are always there if you need help. Whenever you have a problem, you can talk to a friend. For example, I prefer dealing with my friends instead with my parents if I am sad or if I am in trouble. We usually chat for hours on the internet, or we often play football together at the weekends. Sometimes we study together or we have fun at a sleepover. Friends respect your own feelings, fight for you and include you in their daily life. They support you when you have some problems, or encourage you to do well. They show their help and support when you need them, but they also need you whenever they are in difficulties. Friendship knows no boundaries of sex, religion, age, education or money. I think that people who don’t believe in friendship have never had a true friend. A true friend is the most precious gift of life. A true friend is like a brother, even if he isn’t with you all day long, you know he is always there if you need him/her. A true friend will be always a friend even if he/she goes to live very far away. In short, a true friend appreciates you as you really are.

As Muhammad Ali said: “Friendship is the hardest thing in the world to explain. It’s not something you learn in school. But if you haven’t learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven’t learned anything.”
